Here we are...opening night! 

Schedule

Friday  and Saturday

530pm: Call (theatre will be open at 5pm—I recommend that you get here early!)
600: Start mic checks
630: Fight warm up with ChrisE
650: Darty swing
7: House open
710: Meet in Fischer
730: Go time!

Sunday

1: Call time (theatre will be open at 1230)
130: Mic checks begin
200: Fight warm up with ChrisE
220: Darty swing
230: House opens
240: Meet in Fischer
3: Go time! 

It's imperative that we stick to this! Get to the theatre, get mic'd, and get mic checked. Yes--that quickly. Liz will be ready to mic check early than 615--i will announce when she's ready! 

Other tidbits:

Food/Holding room
The food will be set up in the Fischer. This is also the holding room. Because we have a lot of set pieces coming on and off of SL, I ask that you hang out in the Fischer, rather than backstage.

Minis
A "stage manager mini" will be set up directly behind me at the SM desk, and one in the Fischer. They will be available to you for running to grab you a water, time checks, and shoe shining. ;) Peyton will be your backstage mini for Act I, The Munch will be your Fischer mini. At intermission, they will switch places. If either one of them asks you to report to the SM desk/mic table, etc., please do so immediately. These little ones are well-seasoned actresses, know how this whole thing works, and are doing me and the asst SMs a huge favor by being our runners. 

Mics

Before going out to greet the crowd, you must be de-mic'd. There will be 2 people for de-mic'ing (Brendis and Betsy). Proceed to the mic table and they will work as a pit crew to get you out to the lobby. 

Clean up 
The clean up schedule will be posted in the hallway. We all have to do our part, guys. When we all pitch in, we ALL get to go home faster! 

Show run
It is my absolute pleasure to be your stage manager. I love this theatre, and I love stage managing. Thank you for letting me yell/squeak at you. Thank you for letting me 'sssshhhh!' you. And thank you for giving me this much of your time. It's always so humbling to be surrounded by such hard-working people. 

I will, 85% of the time, be at the desk. Brendis will be manning the scrim on SR, and Betsy will be on SL with me. We are your 'jack of all trades,' so to speak. We fix mics, we mend costumes, we remind you of cues, and we offer support. We're also all on headset. If you're SR and realize your costume is ripped, tell Brendis so she can let us know you're running SL for a fix. Did you forget a prop on SL and need it SR? Let one of us know and we'll get it to where it needs to be. We are here for you. 

P.S. I'm a stickler for starting the show on time. Be on time, don't WASTE time, and we start on time.
